This is a DBW (drive by wire) accelerator pedal adapter plate that fits 1973-98 Chevy and GMC Trucks and SUV's up until 2000. It is cnc machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and powder coated in satin black.
This kit comes with the hardware to mount the C6 accelerator pedal.
The advantage of this plate are as follows:
This plate bolts to the original gas pedal mounting position on the firewall using the original mounting hardware.
It has a total height adjustment of 3/4" and a total lateral movement of 3/4" which allows the accelerator pedal to be adjusted for the driver's desired foot placement.
It fits the C6 accelerator pedal GM part number 19417903.
The C6 accelerator pedal is not included
The radio CDM/tuner will need to be removed. If you have an aftermarket stereo installed this unit will most likely have been removed. The bracket that mounts this CDM to the firewall above the accelerator will have to be cut out or bent down to allow the dbw bracket to fit.
